Sify wins National Award for Department of Post (DoP) Network Integration Project
Chennai, April 28, 2016:Β Sify Technologies Limited (NASDAQ: SIFY), a leader in Managed Enterprise, Network, IT and Applications services in India with global delivery capabilities, has won the award for theΒ βBest Use of Technology for Social CauseβΒ for itsΒ Department of Post (DoP) Network Integration Project, at the Dataquest Business Technology Awards.
As part of the Rs. 1877.20 Cr DoP modernization/IT automation drive/program, Sify was mandated to build and connect endpoints inclusive of both sorting and administration offices. Sify has played an immensely crucial role by building the largest integrated MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) network in India for the postal services. The total scale of the project involved connecting 28,818 post offices in Phase I; 60% of it across rural parts of the country. Geographically, this covers more than 172000 villages and towns.
Congratulating Sify on the award, Mrs.Β Kavery Banerjee, Secretary (Posts), Government of India, said, βSify has been an important partner for the Department of Posts in the IT Modernization Project that aims at transforming the Department from a physical to a digital network. Hyderabad,Β January 02, 2016: Sify Technologies today announced the setting up a state-of-the-art Global Delivery Center at Hyderabad. This will be the Company’s largest delivery center in India and will help drive its global ambitions.
It may be recalled that Sify had recently announced a global partnership with Fujitsu Limited to collaborate on providing ICT solutions. The two companies are collaborating to strengthen their global approaches to developing new customers and markets, and to jointly win multi-regional opportunities, starting with the North America market. When completed, this 200,000 sq.ft. Delivery Center will focus on supporting the partnership through the development of solutions for the Third Platform (also known as ”SMACβ Social, Mobile, Analytics and Cloud Platform)

Fujitsu and Sify to Collaborate on Providing Global ICT Solutions
Tokyo, Japan and Santa Clara, California, United States, August 28, 2015Β β Fujitsu Limited and Sify Technologies Limited today announced that they have signed an MOU agreeing to a strategic partnership to provide global ICT solutions. The two companies will engage in go-to-market collaboration to support global customers, initially starting with the North American market.
Fujitsu aims to complement its own capabilities in ICT solutions with Sifyβs strengths in application integration and systems integration, providing cost-competitive solutions and improved account penetration. For its part, Sify seeks to expand outside of India by collaborating with Fujitsu to pursue opportunities with large and mid-size businesses in global markets. The two companies will also discuss collaboration on the latest technologies for service platforms, including Data Centers, cloud computing and software-defined networks.
