Enabling digital organizations to run simple

This is an annual flagship event for SAP partners in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The 2017 edition of the event was attended by 200 CXO participants from 120 partners across all partner categories – resell, services, build – for complete SAP solution portfolio. There were also 50 SAP senior executives from APJ region of India organization, SAP India sales leaders and channel teams.

A forum that focused on ‘Digital Transformation’

INFOCOM-CTO Forum SAARC Tech Summit 2017 was an elite and exclusive evening program that was hosted for the CIOs, CXO’s of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The event was aimed to focus on the theme of “The Digital Transformation”.

Sify got an opportunity to showcase its Digital Transformation proposition to 110 plus prospect customers in Enterprise, Healthcare as as well as Education, Banking Bangladesh.. Apart from the ICT story we were able to showcase Sify’s in-house capabilities like Cloud, iTest, and OEM Applications capabilities like SAP, Oracle & Microsoft. Sify also got a networking opportunity with prospect customers as it was the first event where Sify’s ICT capabilities were showcased in Bangladesh.

Opening Remarks was given by D D Purkayastha, Managing Director and CEO, ABP Pvt Ltd and Chairman, INFOCOM. Inaugural ceremony was performed by the CHIEF GUEST, Begum Tarana Halim, Minister of State, Posts, Telecom & IT, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Talking about the initiatives being taken by Bangladesh Govt. to ensure enterprises and ICT companies investment in expansion.

Sify got an opportunity to host exclusive evening session and present on “Sify’s play as ICT Service Provider”. On day 2 of panel discussion on ‘Manage Risk – Build Trust – Embrace Change’ Sify had the opportunity to talk about its Data Center and Cloud capabilities and how it is continuously innovating for customers like PayTM, Maxlife, Max Bupa, SBI and others. Sify even delivered a key note session on “Accelerating Digital Transformation with SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud”

A summit on ‘The future of IOT – the next revolution’

Internet of Things was intended to redefine life; it is not just technology but is expected to change how we live, work, commute, consume, entertain and more. Powered by connectivity and computing, IoT aims to connect people, devices and accessories and events in a seamless manner to simplify the process of simpler tasks and improve the quality of complex decision making. Developments in the related fields of artificial intelligence, robots / ibots and M2M communications promise a more connected world.

Sify participated in the India IOT Summit 2017 as a Digital Transformation Partner. Sify shared its views in a panel discussion on “The Future of IoT – The Next Revolution”.

Discussion happened around challenges that are currently hindering innovation in IoT, How IoT is shaping Industrial Business Models, what kind of challenge or opportunity customers are facing between order to cash in terms of ownership – various department that comes in between – sales, operation, customer service, finance etc – how are customers creating the ownership among stakeholders?

IoT India Congress 2017 was the ideal platform that readily impacted businesses/revenues not only for the entire ecosystem of technology business such as telecom operators, system integrators, IoT platform and solution providers but also those segments/user communities who might not yet look at IoT as a business game changer for them. End-to-end ecosystem of IoT were brought together to work with each other to speed up the IoT movement in India.

The platform achieved this through CEO meets, product & solutions discovery for SMEs, funding opportunities and mentorships for start-ups and academic projects, idea discovery avenues for VCs and incubators and policy inputs for government agencies. Relevant Government departments, Industry associations and professional bodies in these spaces pledged their support to this platform.

Speakers from Sify participated in panel discussions to introduce the conversation in the areas of IoT story and help ratchet up the importance of its offerings in the market.

Sify Leaders held one on one meetings and interactions with key prospects to project Sify’s capabilities in provider in IoT, DCS, CMS, along with end to end converged ICT solutions.

Sify Leaders also met a large number of industry users and practitioners to catalyse their investment in IoT solutions that will transform their own and their customers’ businesses.

A symposium on the evolving landscape of Data Centers

The speed of change is outpacing traditional infrastructure systems, legacy processes and mainframe mind-set. Hence the event was organized to discuss the evolving landscape of Data Centers. The event was India’s largest & most influential gathering of Industry.

As a Platinum Partner for the event, Sify gained high visibility and reach among CIOs, CTOs and decision makers amongst diverse verticals. The event created awareness about Sify among the audience as an SLA partner who is capable of taking care of all the IT related needs. Sify’s ICT solution positioning with unique pricing models was well appreciated by all the participants.

Sify had set up an Engagement Zone at the event where effective Q&A sessions with customers and prospects was conducted. Sify also had networking sessions for closer engagement with prospects.

Over 160+ attendees turned up from 140+ unique organizations. The event was covered exhaustively by CNBC TV18 and is scheduled for telecast, with an exclusive byte of Bhavesh Mathur.

This session has helped Sify to position itself as a focused player in the Healthcare vertical. With this event the audience came to know Sify as a one-SLA partner that is capable of taking care of all the IT related needs for an IT leader, so that he/she can comfortably focus on their strategic business priorities. The next CIO needs to move away from being caught in the traditional rut of managing infrastructure and worrying about the issues, which should be nothing more than hygiene for a tech savvy enterprise. Our solution positioning of Sify + Varian + CTSI partnership was well appreciated by all the participants.

The roundtable workshop also highlighted several pain points of the health care vertical where Sify’s outcome based models were highlighted and customers were keen to know how Sify can offer various outcome based models in Transforming their ICT space.

“Sify TEQzest” the first exclusive Security Summit event held in association with Akamai on December 20th, 2017

Vijay Rama Chandran, an industry veteran in the IT security domain, shared insights from his recent “Digital Transformation Audit 2017” on key concerns faced by leading organizations during their digital transformation journey and how players like Sify and Akamai should step in to address it.

Palaniraja M. spoke about Sify’s capabilities that organizations should consider to build a impregnable security-multi-layer defense covering their access, network and platform layer. Bruno R.
